A gathering of decision-makers
Did you ever wonder how decisions are made in The Presbyterian Church in Canada? Every year, commissioners – ministers and elders – from across Canada gather together for General Assembly to discuss, debate and vote on matters that affect the denomination. These include issues like mission and ministry plans, pension and benefits, healing and reconciliation and the budget. Commissioners have the opportunity to worship together, hear guest speakers, meet national office staff, renew friendships, make new friends, and enjoy the hospitality of the host presbytery. Gifts to Presbyterians Sharing support General Assembly. Pray for those attending this year’s gathering, June 3-6, at York University.
