5th Sunday After Pentecost
Communion Sunday & Outdoor Service
Welcome! Welcome to our annual Outdoor Service! A special welcome to our guests! Many thanks to Bruce and Lisa Sneesby for hosting our service at their farm, and to the members of the Session for providing the food and drinks!
Today we celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Everyone who has been baptized in any denomination of the Christian church is invited to participate in the Communion, including children. The Communion bread is gluten-free. It’s our custom here at First Church to wait until everyone has been served, so that we all consume first the bread, and then the grape juice, together.
We thank Norman Collier, who is leading our service today.
The Greeters this morning are Rob and Cheryl McPherson.

Summer Services
This year, we’re returning to our tradition of participating in joint summer services with the two United Church congregations in town, as announced in the Newsletter. The schedule will be as follows:
